Today, I went Bozeman Film Festival in Emerson Center to see Japanese movie, "Hula Girls." This program was carried out as Japan Disaster Relief Fundraiser and proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross Japan Earthquake & Pacific Tsunami Disaster Relief Fund.
It was very good chance for me that I have never seen the movie before and I felt honored that I could share the time with people in Bozeman who are concerned about Japan.
There was a sushi stand by Dave's Sushi in the lobby and the taste of sushi and Japanese sake was very nice! This is one thing I was amazed to come here Bozeman. We can have fresh row fish even in inland areas of US and it tastes very good! Dave's Sushi
Well, I felt a little bit worried because there was another film before the movie to show the way to eat sushi. The film was just a joke and I believe people don't take it seriously (actually people laughed so much.) 寿司の正しい食べ方 (The Correct Way of Eating Sushi) - YouTube
Anyway, the movie was so stirring that it made me shed a tear. And, interestingly, the movie was funny as well!
After the movie, an old lady talked to me and colleagues. She said she participates in Hula dance lesson in Bozeman and invited us to come! This is another amazing thing in Bozeman. Almost all people I met are so kind!
On the way home, I found brilliant clear sky. This made me further happier. I love sky filled with beautiful stars, and that is here! I have never seen stars such near the horizon, even though surrounded by mountains! You should come here to see this beautiful night sky!!
